The 16th October episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai turns Kabir's birthday into a day of suspicion, as both families fear Myra slipped away to meet him.

Myra had planned to gift Kabir an entry form for a world photography competition. Instead, she stays silent all day while Kabir waits for her call. When both go missing, the Poddars fear she went to meet him, and the Damanis notice Kabir is absent from the office too.

Myra returns and says she took an entrance exam, which steadies the family, though Arman has to push back against claims that she ran away. Kabir then arrives home with Barkha and says he celebrated his birthday with her, leaving Myra's thoughts still on him.

The episode ends.

Precap: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th October 2026

Abhira confronts Myra over her excitement about Kabir.

Review

The episode works because both families jump to the same wrong conclusion. Myra's exam answer brings relief, but the trust issue is far from settled.
