The 17th October episode of Vasudha mixes wedding joy with fresh danger, as Chandrika publicly defends Hanumant at the Haldi while Samar vows to stop Dev and Vasudha's wedding himself.

The Mehendi celebrations open with a playful challenge: Divya dares Dev to find his name in Vasudha's Mehendi design, and Vasudha quietly helps him win. The couples then write each other's names on their hands, Avinash and Divya, Prabhat and Chandrika, and Birju and Lajwanti, as the whole family dances. Chandrika vows to protect Dev and Vasudha from any tears, and Vasudha admits she still cannot believe she is marrying Dev.

Usha meets Samar and admits that Lajwanti foiled her plan and joined Chandrika. Samar tends to Usha's burn wound and warns her that she should not have gone to the Chauhan house without asking him. He then declares that he himself will stop the wedding and shock the Chauhans.

At the Haldi, Chandrika gives Savitri, Vasudha's bua and mother figure, the first right to apply Haldi to Vasudha. Hanumant then applies Haldi and gives Dev a toffee, followed by a gold chain bought from his sincere earnings. Sarika mocks Hanumant's status and calls the chain thin, but Chandrika scolds her, praises Hanumant's values, and challenges Sarika to gift Dev something bought with her own hard-earned money. The family applauds Hanumant.
