The 16th October 2026 episode of Lakshmi Niwas is set to bring a painful family break. Lakshmi and Srinivas decide they can no longer live under Vivek's roof after his betrayal.

Lakshmi confronts Vivek over his deception involving the house and the property documents. She reminds him that Srinivas sacrificed his lifelong dream for the family, and says she is ashamed that her son never understood the love and sacrifice behind that.

Vivek defends himself, saying his parents should be happy because he brought them to his new house. Lakshmi refuses the argument, saying that if Vivek treats his parents as a burden, they will not stay. She would rather live separately than feel like unwanted guests in her own son's home.

Overcome with emotion, Lakshmi breaks down, then she and Srinivas leave the house. Their departure is not about property alone, but about dignity, trust, and the damage Vivek's greed has done.

Precap: Lakshmi Niwas 17th October 2026

Whether Vivek realises the weight of his mistakes, or his greed costs him his parents' love for good, stays open.

Review

This spoiler works because Lakshmi's stand is about respect, not money. Her line that a house without affection never feels like home gives the episode its centre. Vivek's defence, that providing a roof should be enough, shows exactly why the gap between them has grown so wide.
