The 16th October episode of Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hai pushes Madhavi and Timsi to the edge as a payment deadline runs out, and one last-minute transfer changes everything.

Timsi turns to Mitali for the money, but Mitali coldly refuses, denies knowing her, and threatens a complaint if Timsi contacts her again. The sisters face repeated threatening calls, and the callers keep cutting their time short. Angad tries to warn Vrinda that something is wrong with Madhavi, but Vrinda defends her daughter and refuses to doubt her.

Timsi floats the idea of taking the money from Vrinda's locker, yet Madhavi refuses to steal from her own family. Late at night, the sisters creep toward Vrinda's room, but Vrinda is still awake, so they hide.

Vrinda then overhears a threatening call and confronts the girls, and Madhavi breaks down, ready to confess. At that very moment, Timsi's phone buzzes: Mitali has sent the money after all. Timsi passes the scare off as a friends' prank, Vrinda believes her, and the sisters send the money on. The next morning, missed calls from an unknown number greet Madhavi, and her return call goes unanswered. The sisters fear the money is gone to a scam, while Vrinda still senses that something was held back.

The episode ends.
