When Indu reaches the hospital expecting to reconnect with her husband, Manohar pushes her away and asks who she is. He tells the doctor to call Ganga Sharma, whom he identifies as his wife, and says he has only three daughters. Indu insists she is his wife, but he refuses to accept it and asks the staff to send her out and bring Ganga in instead.

With Ganga beside him, Manohar holds her hand and asks her to take him home, saying he is frightened of Indu and wants Ganga to protect him. The plea leaves Ganga emotional and Indu furious.
